Rose Marie Lord

ROSE MARIE LORD
February 3, 1931 – February 17, 2026
Rose Marie Lord, age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 17, 2026 at the River Park Gardens Personal Care Home.
Rose Marie was married to Gustave Lord for 73 years prior to his passing on September 18, 2021, and is survived by her daughter Lorraine Bayko (Dennis); her son, Louis Lord (Carol); and her sister, Pat Ferens (St. Jean). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rose Marie was predeceased by her brothers Roland, Marcel and Armand St Jean.
She was an avid needleworker including crocheting, knitting and petit point. Always creating and filling our homes with her artistry. Although dementia took away her skills, we will always have her work to remind us of our loving Mother.
The family extends a special thanks to all the Nurses and Caregivers for their excellent care and compassion throughout her stay at River Park Personal Care Home.
As per Mom’s request, a private family service will be observed at Green Acres Cemetery.

Grandma was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering dedication. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.
We take comfort in knowing she is now held in God's loving embrace, reunited with the love of her life - Grandpa - who has been waiting to welcome her home.
Her legacy lives on in our hearts, in our memories, and in the kindness she inspired in us all. Grandma, you will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

What a beautiful loving lady my aunt Rose was. I was her babysitter when she and uncle Gus lived in Fort Garry, Manitoba. I'm so happy to know that she died in her sleep and therefore didn't suffer. RIP aunt Rosemarie. Loved you!
The obituary described her well Lorraine. My condolences to Lorraine her daughter and caregiver, to her son, Louis.and to Pat, her sister..
