LAURA LUEBKE

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother on March 28, 2026, just two days shy of her 90th birthday.

Mom was born in Westmore on March 30, 1936 to Vital and Alida Lafreniere. Mom married our dad Hans on April 4, 1961 and they raised six children. Mom was a homemaker who was a great cook. She also loved gardening and canning.

Mom was predeceased by our dad in 1999. She is survived by children, Angie (Paul), Loretta (Phil), Trish (John), Mark, Grace (John) and Linda (Cary); eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

We would like to thank Meadowood Manor for their wonderful care over the last few years as well as St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Rest easy Mom,
