It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather at the age of 76 years old.
Robert leaves behind his wife of 49 years Christina; daughter Tracy; son-in-law Michel Vandale; grandchildren, Noah and Sydney; brother Roland; and numerous other family members that will miss him dearly.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Robert’s nephews, Paul Lussier and Robert Czorny for all of their help over the past months during this difficult time.
At Robert's request there will be no service and cremation has already taken place.
We also want to express our heartful thanks to the caring team members on the 6th floor unit at St. Boniface Hospital.

Dear Chris and all the family:
As Chris's brother and bother-in-law of Bob, I did not share in a close relationship to Bob as we simply did not live nearby. But I can say that the one thing that gave meaning and focus to his life was his much loved grand-children Noah and Sydney. Bob was always around to share in the activities in their lives whether it was in sport or dance or sleep-overs or whatever. Then there was his beloved Blue Jays that he followed on TV without fail. A more profound part of Bob's character was his acceptance of the many years of pain and suffering he enduredwithout complaint or self-pity. In fact, one of the longest conversations I had with Bob came in a phone call with him followinig the amputation of his leg. During that conversation, he only expressed full acceptance of his situation and spoke only about getting on with life. I tried to imagine myself in his situation and had a hard time believing that I could have the same level of courage and fortitude that he showed. Bob will be sorly missed by the many others, including myself, whom his quiet and complacent life crossed paths.

Dear Chris, we have many great memories of time spent with you and Bob. The condo folks were a great bunch of friends to spend time with. So many great memories and may they be a sense of comfort to you when you remember all the good times.
Sincere condolences to you and your family.

Dear Chris and family,
Fred and I are so sorry that Bob has passed away. We remember fondly how much work Bob and Fred did together around the condo to the benefit of all the owners. We also enjoyed the many breakfasts we have shared with both of you over the years. We have not only lost a neighbour with Bob, but someone we consider to be a friend.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family.
Prayers for you all,
Fred and Dolores
