Matante holds a special place in my heart.  When I think back on our many visits to Montreal and Winnipeg and our long phone conversations and discussions about Coronation Street, I smile and laugh.  We had many fun times together.  When  visiting Montreal besides enjoying being with us all, we made sure to shop at her favourite clothes store, play our farm games on the PC, and of course she had to have her smoked meat sandwich (with a pickle on the side) .  We had just as much fun in Winnipeg.  Our road trips were a blast, of course we had the best tour guide in Winnipeg, thanks Keith.   Even running away from a bunch of geese and loads of bees turned out to be such funny memories.   We always looked forward to having dinner at Holly and Keith’s house and going out for Sunday brunches.   I will miss Matante a lot but I am so grateful to have so many wonderful memories.
