Laura Major
LAURA MARY MAJOR
(née LAHAM)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Laura.
Laura (mama) is survived by husband Oliver; her children, Charlene (Dave) and Greg (Lesley); seven grandchildren, Chantelle (Chad), Mark, Jordan, Steven (Devin), Danielle (Paul), Meghan, and Emma; and five great grandchildren, Easton, Presley, Raine, Nixon, and Cooper who will miss her immensely.
Mama enjoyed gardening, she loved flowers, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, bingo, and regular trips to the casinos. However… there was nothing she loved more than being our “mama”.
Her unending love for her family has made an impact on us all and will remain embedded in our hearts forever.
A special thank you to Mandi and her staff for all their love, kindness, care, and compassion for our mama.
We will celebrate her life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Maple Grove Park (100 Frobisher Road).
Laura’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

I remember always visiting Aunty Laura in her ceramic shop on St.Marys Rd....and all the times she made me laugh...the few times when we were little going to her house for Christmas. Great memories going with my dad to visit Aunty Laura and Uncle Oliver on Barrington...
