TRACY LEIGH-ANN MAN

(née NICKEL)

May 11, 1975 – March 13, 2026

A Photo Biography Video is forthcoming.

Please check back soon.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Tracy Leigh-Ann Man (née Nickel) on March 13th, 2026, at the age of 50.

Tracy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 22 years, Saion Man, and her pride and joy – her son, Nicholas. Tracy is also survived by her mom Ann Nickel (Doug), her birth mother Jocelynne McAvoy (Paul), brother Darren, sister Tricia (Moe), sister-in-law Saiping (Peter), brother-in-law Saihong, and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Tracy was predeceased by her dad Neil Nickel, as well as her parents-in-law Sheung Yin Man and Hing Wan Man.

Tracy grew up in Niverville, where the entire community seemed to know her; she either babysat their children or served them at the restaurants in town throughout her teenage years. After graduation, Tracy moved to Winnipeg where she left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Tracy will be lovingly remembered as Nick’s loudest and proudest fan, her unwavering support of him never ended; she was his greatest champion, encouraging him in every area of his life. Tracy was a dedicated mom, volunteering whenever asked – she could never say no, but her greatest and most visual role was as a proud hockey mom who unapologetically cheered on Nick and his teammates.

Tracy will be remembered by her family and friends as someone who loved life, laughter, and adventure. She embraced every opportunity – whether it was a weekend trip to the lake (her favourite place), a shopping trip to the States with her friends, trips to China, Europe, and beyond – she truly seized every moment.

Tracy was a hard worker, never backing away from a challenge. Over the years, she experienced many opportunities, but she cherished her time at Holt Dental most, where her colleagues became family. She truly connected with her patients, offering warmth, kindness, and genuine attention to all.

Tracy’s infectious spirit will live on in Saion, Nick, and everyone who knew her.

Tracy, you were taken from us far too soon, and you will be greatly missed. We love you.

The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff who supported Tracy throughout her journey at CancerCare, the Grace Hospital and Women’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Tracy’s Life will be held in Niverville at the Golden Friendship Centre on April 17th, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Tracy’s memory.

Sending condolences to all who knew and loved Tracy. She was such a ray of sunshine - offering a bright smile and conversation each and every time I walked into the dental office. She will be missed.

I was Gutted to hear the news of Tracey's passing. I only knew her thru Dr Holt's clinic but felt she was a friend. She was always so pleasant and kind to both my mother and I. You will be missed but I am sure we will continue to remember you for a long time to come. You were served a raw deal but you handled it with grace. You have earned your eternal rest my friend. You are missed.

A memory that I treasure is remembering when we were young, staying over for the night at her place in Niverville, and getting to sleep in the camper, She woke me up really early to play cards☺️And then later that day getting to go shopping and buying heart shaped sunglasses that just meant the world to us at that age. Tracy was also a vibrant joy at family gatherings, her laughter, smile, and loving personality will be missed. Love you Tracy, a beautiful soul gone to soon..

We called each other family friends but in short we just called each other family! It started with Todd growing up with the Man family, always being included in every family event. When Saion met Tracy we immediately fell in love with her! Always greeting us with a "Hi Beautiful" or "Hi Sweetie" and gave the biggest hug and that warm smile. She was like a 2nd mom and auntie to our kids Jon and Sig from day 1. We were pregnant together with Liv and Nick only 1 and a half months apart and she was sending home food for us even though she had a newborn!

I was always in awe as Tracy was such a strong, positive force, a get up and go girl and lived life to the fullest! She could make anyone feel comfortable and welcomed and had the best sense of humour.

Tracy- Words cannot say how much you mean to us!

Thank you for all the love and suppprt you've given us through the years, loved every dim sum date, walks over to the grocery store, bubble tea or Maxim bakery, our watersliding in Grand Forks and when we all went out to California!

Thank you for always knowing what to say and do and for all the fun adventures we've had together with our families!

We love you soooo much and know that you will be with us forever,

Love Kim and Todd

I had the pleasure of learning from Tracy at CDI College back in 2009. She was just so wonderful to be around. Great sense of humor, sarcastic in the best way and always at the perfect time. Oh how I loved clinic because of her! Back then she would always share funny stories about her family. She loved them dearly!!

Conversations with her naturally had us bursting out in laughter. She was genuine... pure gold 🤍

I worked with Tracy at CDI College and she also worked in the dental office I went to in Winnipeg Square for a time. Tracy was very much like this pic you have of her--always smiling and happy. It was a pleasure to know her. Godspeed, my friend.
