ARLENE MARY MARTENS

April 22, 1942 - September 28, 2025

It is with great sadness I say goodbye to my wonderful sister (Dee Dee), my confidant and good friend. 


Arlene was predeceased by her husband Jack; parents, Daniel and Evelyn; brothers, Doug and Dave; sister Marjorie.


She leaves to mourn several close family members and her two "brekkie" friends.


Arlene worked for the Manitoba government in various positions before retiring. Her home was her pride and joy and she tended to its every need until her death. Arlene was kind and generous and loved to have friends and family visit and share a few laughs.


She will be missed.


Maybe all of those stars in the sky 

are the porch lights of the loved ones, 

waiting for us to come home.


Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

We were neighbors to Jack and Arlene on Stewart St. She was a fabulous freindly soul, always smiling and laughing.

She always kept our secrets when we were teens. Lots of fond memories of her at our house having coffee with mom and dad. She will be missed

Sorry to hear this sad news. I actually worked with Arlene’s husband Jack and had the privilege of meeting her at thier meticulous kept home . As a further coincedence Her and Jack had a cabin at the same lake , Granite. As our family and I spent a many times with her and Jack shooting the breeze over at it . . Always had a bright smile and laugh . Iam sure a life well lived !! RIP.
