LINDA LOU MARTIN
April 28, 1952 – December 10, 2025
Linda Lou Martin, born on April 28, 1952, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Martin; her son, Rob Martin, and his wife, Raquel, along with their two children, Emma and Natalie; her daughter, Jacquelyn, her husband, Dylan, and their daughter, Lilly, as well as Jacquelyn's stepson, Jamie.
Linda will be profoundly missed as she was profoundly loved. She cherished her time painting, took delight in long walks at the lake, and looked forward to spending winters in Arizona.
She is also survived by many brothers and sisters who loved her dearly, and she treasured them as well. Gary appreciates their unwavering support during this difficult time.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the friends who have offered their support over the past few months and years. We would also thank Dr. George and Dr. A. Schroeder and the staff of the Grace Hospital for all their kindness and compassion.

My sympathies to Gary and the entire family and to all the St Germains.
I lived across the street on Woodlands from Linda and family from 1949 (they moved in a few yrs later) to 1968.
I have very fond memories of Linda and her family. Her Mom's baked bread, potato roasts in their backyard, kids games on the empty yards. Very sad when Doris advised me of Linda's health struggles and passing. My condolences to all

Gary and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Linda was an amazing next door neighbour at Grand Beach and such a dear friend. We always enjoyed chatting and sitting on the deck with her. We will miss her. Rest in peace Linda until we meet again. Sending hugs to your family.

Linda was my sister-in-law.....I never had a sister so to me she was one. We had different personalities....I was boisterous and she was the quiet one.....but you would always remember her laugh. She enjoyed her cottage and loved sitting on the deck. She was definitely not a water person but she would walk the waterfront with Gary every morning. She was kind and caring. She so loved her grandchildren. When they were little she would always be sewing or creating something for them...and when they grew up, she was thrilled and proud of their achievements. She was also a loving caring mom. Rob and Jackie were her world. She loved them dearly. Linda is now their beautiful guardian angel watching over her children and grandchildren. She also had a quick wit. When Gary would tease her, she always had a great come back. She was very creative and a wonderful artist. Her work and dedication to the craft was amazing. We have a wonderful painting in our living room that we cherish.
Living in different provinces, we did not get to see each all the time but were so blessed to have our summers together. This past summer was a difficult one for Linda and Gary. We were happy to help out when we could. I am proud to say that Gary was a wonderful supportive and caring husband. He was very dedicated to Linda"s care. The one thing that Linda still loved to do was to give hugs. We so loved those gentle hugs. The twinkle in her eye went straight to our hearts..We will never forget those last hugs as she left our cottage and now our lives. I was so proud to call her sister. Bill and I will miss her. God bless you Linda. May you be joyous now reuniting with your family members in heaven. We love you......until we meet again

Our hearts go out to you Gary and to Rob, Jacquelyn and your families. We both have fond memories of good times spent with the two of you; visits back and forth between Grand and Victoria Beaches, visits to Mesa and most especially Linda's special laugh. Linda's was a life well and fully lived.

linda Touched so many lives and now we can share all those fabulous funny memories. She was so much fun and a ray of sunshine. Her paintings where unbelievable and the day she showed them to me I picked my favorited one. Then before I knew it she had it framed and it is on display at the cottage to share with everyone. That painting warmed my heart. Her memories are like threads of gold they will never tarnish or grow old. You will always be in our heart. so happy you were a part of our life. Be at peace our friend.

We love the picture of Linda's painting area. She was a talented painter and her beautiful pictures always delighted us when we visited Linda and Gary at their cottage. You wanted to touch the feathers on the birds she had painted, they are that lifelike. We will miss Linda's lovely smile, her welcoming manner, and her teasing. Her laugh was infectious. Rest in peace our dear friend, we will miss you always, and we are honoured to have know you.
