GREGORY MARTYNYSHYN
1955 – 2026
Surrounded by the love of his family, Greg Martynyshyn passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at Seven Oaks General Hospital.
Greg will be deeply missed by Val, John, Chris, Ron, Gordie, Nick, John, his two nephews, and his two nieces, along with their families and his cousins.
Greg dedicated 47 years to the grocery retail industry. He loved the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Winnipeg Jets, curling, music, family celebrations, and Corvettes.
Thank you to Greg’s medical teams at St. Boniface Hospital (5E) and at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Chaplain Justin (Tom) at St. Boniface Hospital and Brenda at Seven Oaks General Hospital.
A private family celebration will be held.

My sincere Condolences to Greg"s family. I worked with Greg in the 1980's at the Kenaston & Grant Superstore. He was an exceptional Produce Manager and a very good person. He had a BIG Heart. He cared about the welfair of his co-workers. He did his best to make sure his staff were treated well and respected.

I lived a couple of houses east of Greg. We played a lot as children,always beat me at one on one football on the boulevard. Rest in peace.
