Don and I worked together at Power & Mine Supply. I found a true racing friend in Don. We went a couple of times to Grand Forks after work on Fridays. When he went on vacation he went to one to two racetracks a day. I thought that was incredible. He always brought the pictures back to show me. When I moved to Mpls, MN we reconnected via Facebook. His new love of motorcycle racing was interesting, especially the Speedway bikes. I followed his posts and commented and relayed my racing events with my 240Z. One of the tracks that he attended was Cedar Lake Speedway in WI which is only 45 minutes from my home and he highly recommended it. My girlfriend and I went many times to see sprint cars there. I had hoped one day Don and I could go together. He was such a kind and wonderful friend and man. I miss him dearly. RIP Don!

Sue-Anne, I’m so sorry for your loss. Both of you have been the best neighbours and I will miss Don. Don’t hesitate to reach out for anything you need. Nolan, Braeden and myself are happy to help.

Don was a gentle soul with a very kind heart. His love of kitties endeared him to me. I always enjoyed him when he visited me with Sue-Anne, or joined us for special suppers. He was taken too young, and will be missed by many. The world was better with him in it. I hope you are at peace now Don-and all my love to Sue-Anne and the rest of his family.
