JOSEPH "MICHAEL" ROBERT MCCAUGHAN

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Michael Robert McCaughan of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on December 16, 2023. Michael was a grandfather, father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He is predeceased by his mother (Rose), his father (Harry), his brother (Malcolm), and his brother-in-law (August). He leaves to mourn his sister (Melody), his two daughters (Nicole and Heather), one son (Jordan), and two grandchildren (Donovan and Dominic).

Michael was a fun-loving and generous man. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at special events, on holidays, and get-togethers around a bonfire. Michael had also been an eager bowler, karaoke singer (“Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker), and loyal fan of the Seattle Seahawks. Michael also loved to golf and enjoyed the outdoors, so much so, that he put the two together and worked on a golf course where he was most happy. Michael had a soft spot for animals and greatly adored his Akita-Elkhound “Jake.” Michael’s sports mindedness extended to helping coach his little sister’s softball team which he brought to championship. Michael had many joys in his life and will be fondly remembered by all those who cared and loved him.
