LARRY ALBERT MCIVOR

With heavy hearts, we announce Larry passed away on July 16 2026 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg MB at the age of 72.

He is survived by his former spouse Barbara, his children: Desmond, Lawrence, Warren, Joseph, Thomas H, Marion (Becky), Benjamin (Patrick), Thomas S, James, Dillon, Allicia. His many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Siblings: Lindsey, Clinton.

Larry was a great father, brother, uncle & friend to have. He was a very hardworking man, always working from a young age. A good role model to his brothers, sons & nephews. He always tried to his best to help everyone and anyone he crossed paths with. He had a deep desire and love for cars (as he was a mechanic for over 5 decades), Fishing, Spending time with his family & grandchildren. Driving all across Canada, travelling anywhere and everywhere for work & his family. In his down time, he liked to relax, tell his children/ grandchildren stories, make jokes or try to teach them Anishinaabe, watch YouTube videos about cars, aliens, UFO’s, anything that caught his attention or just listen to music.

He always had the biggest sweet tooth, Always had something on hand from his hidden candy stashes to his store runs just for a pie or a pastry.

Larry Albert McIvor will forever 

be loved & very much missed. 

The impact he made in

never be forgotten.

A Service & Celebration life will be held 2:00pm Tuesday August 4th 2026 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).
