MARY LYNNE SVEINSON (MELO)
February 21, 1965 – July 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Lynne Sveinson (Melo) on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 61.
Born on February 21, 1965, Mary Lynne lived life with an adventurous spirit, embracing every opportunity to experience all that life had to offer. She had a vibrant personality, a contagious sense of humor, and an infectious energy that naturally drew people to her. Whether among family or friends, she was often the life of the gathering, creating lasting memories with her warmth, laughter, and love of life.
Mary Lynne passed away peacefully at home, in the comfort of her own bed, with her loving boyfriend, Livio Cascegna, by her side.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son, Glenn Sveinson, daughter-in-law, Erika Sveinson, and her cherished granddaughter, Morgana Sveinson. She is also survived by her brother, Cecil Sveinson and his family.
Mary Lynne was predeceased by her beloved parents, Cecil and Mary Sveinson.
She had a special love for her cats, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and ability to make those around her smile will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the joy she shared will live on forever.
The family would like to thank everyone who has offered their love, support, and condolences during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.
Forever loved,
forever remembered,
and forever missed.
