CORINNE MILLER

June 6, 1960 – July 18, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved, Corinne Miller, in the St. Boniface Hospital on the evening of Friday, July 18th, 2025 at the age of 65 years.

Corinne is survived by her loving husband Blair, her children, Jenna (Tim) and son Christopher, her parents Ernie and Maria, her brother Steve (Karen) and her sister Mary-Ann (Brad), and grandchildren Wyatt and Kaiya.

She was always there for other people. Whether it be as a carer and provider for her family, a babysitter for her grandchildren or her career as an LPN at Oakview Place Personal Care Home, she would do anything she could to benefit anyone whose path she crossed. She had a passion for all of the holidays and loved celebrating with her family. Corinne will be missed tremendously, but she will continue to be honoured and remembered daily by all those who loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road on the 30th of July at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.

Corinne’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

We knew Corrine as our babysitter 50 years ago. She rose to the challenge dished out from two rambunctious boys with her strength of character, resolve and kindness. They liked Corrine and so did we. Corrine was a credit to proper parental upbringing. May she rest in peace.

Corinne had the strength and confidence of Wonder Woman with the soul of Winnie the Pooh. We are grateful to have enjoyed so many adventures and holidays together. Her friendship and laughter will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

I had the pleasure of occasionally working on Corinne's unit at Oakview Personal Care Home. As a nurse, she was kind, caring and upbeat to all residents and staff alike. I always knew that I was going to have a good shift when she was on duty.

You could feel the calmness as soon as you walked off the elavator to her unit. Not always a possible feat when you have a large group of irascible seniors.

She was a delight to know and work with and well liked by all. Corinne you will be missed and remembered for your big heart and smile.

Condolences to Blair and family, and grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss. I worked nights following Corrines evening shift and could not have respected and admired anyone more than Corrine. Her kindness and caring will be remembered by so many.

Our sincerest condolences to Blair and family. I had a chance to get caught up with the last 30 years including having the chance to meet Christopher just last month while we were waiting at Grace Emergency . We reminisced about our west coast trip in the Beaumont through treacherous conditions in the late 70,s. Her smile was certainly infectious at all the socials and parties back in the day. She will be sadly missed. RIP!

Corrine and I took together one of my first trips on a plane to Vancouver for EXPO 88, her and I had so much fun m. I remember we were both newly married and all we wanted was to get home to see our husbands Greg and Blair but we were flying what they called the milk run so we stopped in a few cities before we hit Winnipeg, we didn't realize we were in Winnipeg, and forgot to get off the plane. lol we went into Toronto.

She was a huge inspiration for me because she was always so happy and excited about life. So beautiful inside and out. I will truly miss her and my heart goes out to her lovely husband Blair and all the family and friends.

Hugs xxoo
