JOHN MORAVCIK

John Moravcik, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Czechoslovakia, John lived through profound change and carried with him the strength, resilience and work ethic shaped by his early years.

At the age of 39 he immigrated to Canada with his family, embracing a new country and building a life defined by hard work, integrity and kindness.

A devoted husband and father, John was predeceased by his beloved wife over 40 years ago. Though he never remarried, his life remained full through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a gentle and steady presence a man who never raised his voice to his children and led by example, patience and quiet strength.

Those who knew him often remarked on his kindness and warmth. He was genuinely happy, deeply respectful of others, and carried himself with humility His character left a lasting impression not only on his family, but on all who had the good fortune to know him.

John leaves behind his loving children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren each of whom carries forward his values and legacy. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering work ethic and love he gave so freely.

He will be sadly missed 

and forever remembered.

Cremation has taken place with resting place at Chapel lawn cemetery.
