MARIE ANNE MYNDZAK

November 16, 1955 – December 6 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie Anne Myndzak, born on November 16, 1955, in Trenton, Hastings County, Ontario.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph Myndzak (February 5, 2019) and Theresa Myndzak (September 8, 2020). She is survived by her devoted sisters, Susan Myndzak and Cathy Meissner (Peter); as well as her nieces Courtney Ryder, Riley Sullivan, and Lisa Meissner, all of whom she loved dearly.

Marie retired from a longstanding and respected career as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Public Health for the Branch of Manitoba. She never married, choosing instead a life rich with family, friendship, and meaningful experiences. She shared her home and her life with her sister Susan—the two truly inseparable.

Due to the work of Marie’s dad, they travelled across Canada which filled her childhood with family-oriented memories that shaped her warm and adventurous spirit. In adulthood, she and Susan continued to explore, travel, and live life to the fullest, surrounded by a vibrant social circle and many cherished friends.

Marie’s sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Words cannot fully capture the depth of our loss, nor the impact she had on so many throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed

and forever remembered.

My sincere condolences to Marie's family on her sudden passing. When I came back to work at Manitoba Health in 2014, I worked closely with the Public Health team, of which Marie was an integral member. I will remember the brilliant smile and red hair that greeted you when you approached her desk. Marie was always ready to assist in whatever way she could. She often went above and beyond to help me as I was then "learning the ropes". She took her job seriously carried out her duties professionally. May cherished memories sustain her family and friends during this difficult time. Avis Gray

I had the pleasure of working with Marie at Manitoba Health in the Public Health Branch. I remember how helpful she was when I was a new employee. Always willing to help me and answer my many questions. We often shared stories about our pets and travel. My deepest condolences to all of Marie's family during this very sad time.

I worked with Marie at MB Health & remember her smile & happy outlook on life. We'd often chat in the hallways. She will be missed by all who knew her. The divas are missing a great person. Thanks for being a part of my life Marie.

We are heart broken at the passing of Marie. We cherish our memories of summers spent in Vernon BC with our favorite cousins Marie, Susan and Cathy. Listening to our fathers argue and playing in the huge back yard at our Grandmothers home. Many hours spent at the lakes in the Okanagan, the sun always shining.

Even though there are many miles between us, know that we love you all and wish you peace and comfort

Scott, Val and Kelly.

My heart felt condolences to Marie's family. Marie was a person that will be hard to forget and so easy to remember. I too meet Marie through our long sometimes harrowing careers with Manitoba Health.

I always respected Marie for her work ethic and loyalty to the job.

We will miss Marie. She always had a smile & a warm hello. The Divas will miss her. I met her in Manitoba Health where she worked. Her retirement life was too short. Looking back to support her battle with cancer, she had Blue stretch wrist bands to distribute. My condolences to the family.
