Our condolences to Olga's family in her passing.  We came to know Olga only in  the past 1 1/2 years through Fred Douglas Lodge.  We have a friend (neighbor) who lives at the Lodge as well and Olga and our friend Sun Wah (Tina) dined at the same table every day.  Olga was such a sweetheart and a joy to be around and would sometimes join us to play cards in the activity room.  If she was ever in a bad mood we just had to comment on how beautiful her hair looked and her jewelry and it seemed to turn her around.  We will miss her dearly.  Victoria and Nadine we hope we catch up with you at Fred Douglas on your visits to see Ben.  If we don't see you in the hallway then you know where to find us (Activity Room).  Take care of yourselves and each other.  We love you both and our prayers and thoughts are with you.  Linda Kuryk and Rosemary Zenchuk.❤❤

Our condolences to the Olga Nahirniak family as you honor Olga's memory today and miss her presence in the days ahead. One of our best memories of Olga was from the year she turned 80. She wanted to have an adventure and chose to join a canoe dinner we hosted at Caddy lake. An adventure she did have, gamely climbing into a canoe for the first time, paddling through a tunnel and then climbing up to a fire pit for dinner and music. What a great role model for engaging life to the fullest, regardless of age! We have such vivid memories of her paddling the canoe that day! May love surround you all and great memories of your beloved Olga warm your hearts at this time of loss. ❤  Joan Carolyn & Ken Nicholson

I came to know Olga only in the last couple of years. I loved her feisty spirit and felt she had so many more stories to tell me of her adventurous life. We shared a sweet connection and I’ll miss my weekly visits with her. My gratitude to her sisters for their care of Olga, and my condolences for their loss.

I was so sorry to hear about Olga. We often chatted while I was visiting my father at Fred Douglas. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Shelley
