DAVE ANTHONY NECHWEDIUK

March 16, 1981 - October 24, 2023

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of David Anthony Nechwediuk.

David was born on March 16, 1981 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Stephen and Leslie Nechwediuk (née Gregory). He was a very fun-loving adventurous child, always smiling and full of life. He enjoyed being outdoors and could often be found with a fishing pole in his hand or riding on a dirt bike. Dave was a hard worker and as brave as they come. He was running around on roof tops from the time he was three years old. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends.

David is survived by his Father Stephen Nechwediuk (Jean), his older sister Tina Reeves (Dallas). His younger brother Matthew Nechwediuk, his niece Ali Reeves and his nephew Dylan Reeves. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

The thing I admired most about my brother was his compassion for animals, especially cats. If anyone would like to make a donation in Dave's honour, please consider your local cat rescue.

David’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

Stephen We know we cannot make your pain go away, but we want you to know we are here for a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen with or anything else you may need.  David's memory along with that beautiful smile will always remain in our hearts. Tina and Matthew words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for your loss.  David's spirit will always shine through you and his memory will be a source of  your strength.  We are thinking of all of you.

Sad we never got to spend more time with him or be more part of his life. We let time slip away where we should be spending with family and friends every chance we get. He will be missed so much by so many.  Love Linda, Robert, Candice and Corey  ❤

Tina,  I remember meeting you when I went to pick you up with your aunt Lucille way back when you were babysitting. Lucille's child(ren).   I was pleasantly surprised to meet  you again years later when I meet Dallas..  I don't think I meet your brother Dave. Family is so important. I would like to offer you and Dallas, and your children  sincere condolences from Paul and I.
