It is with profound sadness the family of Allan Gordon Norrie announces his passing on May 6, 2026 at the age of 82.
He leaves behind his loving wife Sharon; son Dean (Ola), daughter Tracy, son Ryan (Dayna), step son Carl (Lisa); and 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Makenna and Melissa.
Gord will also be deeply missed by his sister in law Sally, brother in law Larry, many nieces and nephews, numerous sisters and brothers in law from Sharon's family, as well as many life long friends.
He was preceded by his mother Evelyn (née Graves), father Alexander (Buster); brothers, Ken (Marge), Buck (Valerie), Ray, Bill; and sister Faye Mansell.
Gord was born on May 23,1943 and grew up on the family farm in the Wood Bay district near Pilot Mound, MB. After working his first job with highways in Carman. Gord moved to Winnipeg and worked at a flour mill. The majority of his career was working at Inland Cement. This brought a move to Calmar, Alberta where he later retired with Inland after 27 years. After retirement a move was made to Kinistino Saskatchewan. Retirement found Gord and Sharon enjoying many winters in Mesa, Arizona escaping the cold Canadian winters. When they were back home they spent the summers camping, fishing and traveling to Manitoba to visit with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the United Community Arts Building, 148 Moffat Ave, Pilot Mound, MB.

Dear Dean Ola Nicholas & all your family.
I was so sad to hear of your huge loss. Your Dad sure had a life that was full ,Worked very very hard at his jobs and very long time .Now I also see he had a good time fishing , camping travelling as well. Maybe you Dean got part of your great hard work ethics., but fun side to from him also.
You and ola are perfect examples of hard working Dads that maybe influenced , which now since. you are great parents and showing your son Nicholas how to have a good life if you work hard for it, plus can have fun times to. Nicholas im sorry for your loss of your grandfather I know it's hard. .
I asked my mom to greet him soon as I found out , I believe he went straight to heaven now you have your angel watching over you.
I hope he quickly found a fishing place and is casting his rod as he reads all that people who cared will now be writing about him. Again I and my family including Mandy am very sorry for this huge loss. I'm always here for you guys hope you know. His legacy will live on by all who he leaves behind and the stories that many I'm sure will continue to be told. Take care my dear friends.
With lots of love
Rita Mandy & my family.❤️🩹🕊️🎣
