ALICE MAE PAGEE

(née Sawchuk)

April 8, 1941 - May 6, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce Alice’s passing on May 6, 2020 with her family by her side.

She is survived by her children Garry, Bonny, and Terry; stepson Darryl (Wendy); grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Bailey, Laufey, and Lexie; great-grandchildren Danielle, Rivarin, and Keagan, as well as sister Shirley.

Alice is predeceased by her life partner Jack; parents John and Tillie Sawchuk; brothers Walter and Alex.

Alice was born April 8, 1941 and grew up in Lundar, MB. She moved to Winnipeg to work and raise her family. Alice worked at Ray-O-Vac for 25 years until they closed the plant. She then worked at Boeing for 20 years until she retired to Ste. Anne, MB with Jack. Alice lived there until shortly after his passing in 2014, returning to Winnipeg to be close to family. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking, camping and fishing with Jack; spending time with family was her greatest joy, particularly holidays and playing card games, which she usually won. Our Mom and Grannie will always be loved and dearly missed.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment of her ashes will be held at a later date. In the meantime, Alice's family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing your own photos and/or sharing your own memories and stories or condolences for the family by using the comment section on this page.
