ROBERT LEO JOSEPH PARE

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Robert Leo Joseph Pare on October 19, 2025 at the age of 76.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Edwards (Matthew); grandson Peter; sister, Diane Pallick (Bill); nephew Michael; and niece, Kimberly (Thomas). He was predeceased by his mother, Nettie Pare; and sister, Shirley Pare.

Robert's passions in life included music, sports, and his faith. His music taste was hard to find fault with, top billing going to Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, and the Rolling Stones. Robert was a die-hard sports fan. He loved his Jays, Bombers, and Jets—both 1.0 and 2.0. Robert's faith was very important to him, and he leaned on it many times over the years.

In recent years, he took on his most cherished role of Grandpa Robert. He loved to brag about his young grandson Peter to anyone who would listen!

The family would like to extend a thank you to Jim, Valerie, and Maureen for their friendship and kindness towards Robert during his illness. A special thank you to the staff of the Riverview 3 East palliative care ward for the compassion they showed caring for Robert.

A private celebration of life is planned for a future date.
