Sarah Partridge

SARAH JOANNE PARTRIDGE
September 23, 1974 – September 26, 2025
After a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer, we are heartbroken to announce the passing of Sarah Joanne Partridge. Sarah passed away on September 26th, 2025, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 51.
She is survived by her daughters, Emily and Olivia; her mother, Karen; her brother, David; her partner, Patrick; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Allan Dickie; her maternal grandparents, Dr. Earl and Matthildur (Mattie) Bryngelson; and her paternal grandparents, James and Artimizia (Artie) Dickie.
Sarah was born on September 23rd, 1974, in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, and spent much of her childhood in Kenora, Ontario, surrounded by her mother, brother, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. The family later moved to Winnipeg when Sarah was ten. She graduated from high school and went on to explore many paths in life, working as a hairstylist, an educational assistant, and, finally, an operations manager. Whatever she put her mind to, she approached with determination, creativity, and heart. She loved trying new things and excelled at everything she did.
Sarah had a lifelong love of music and concerts. In her younger years, she and her friends would chase down her favourite bands, and with a little luck, she met just about all of them. That passion carried into adulthood, where she could often be found outside concert venues, hoping for another chance to see Def Leppard.
She also had a deep love for animals. Growing up, she was surrounded by cats and dogs, and in her later years, she found so much love, comfort, and joy in the family’s two dogs, Arthur and Daisy.
Above all, Sarah’s greatest role, and her greatest joy, was being a mother. Emily and Olivia were the center of her world, her purpose, and her pride. She poured every bit of her heart into raising them with love, strength, and compassion. She never missed a moment to lift them up, make them laugh, or remind them how deeply they were loved. She was their fiercest protector, their most loyal supporter, and their closest friend. To Sarah, being their mom wasn’t just part of her life, it was the best part. Her love for them was limitless, and they gave her joy and meaning even in the hardest moments.
Sarah also found love with her partner, Patrick, and the family is so thankful for the time, love, and memories they shared. She was blessed with lifelong friendships that meant the world to her, bonds that remained strong throughout her life.
Sarah was deeply loved by all who knew her, and we will miss her beyond words. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free from pain.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre, and everyone who supported Sarah and her loved ones throughout her journey.
A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held in the coming months.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society, two causes close to Sarah’s heart.
Sarah’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

My deepest condolences to Sarah's family.🤍
Sarah & I got to know each other thru our RRC EA course. We were paired up on our practicum together & would spend our lunches together questioning life's little mysteries. Although we didn't stay in touch over the years i definitely remember how great she was at everything she did & her beautiful authentic smile. Her love for her family was limitless. Truly heartbroken over her loss.🤍
