PATRICIA LESPERANCE

March 15, 1929 – September 7, 2022

Peacefully with her family by her side, Patricia Lesperance passed away at Grace hospital on September 7, 2022 at the age of 93.

Pat will be forever missed by her sons Wayne, Bruce (Shelley), Neil (Gaby), Allan (Linda), Rob, and Ted. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Christine, Virginia, Kara, Nicole, Dianna, Robert, Matt, Bryan, Brandon, and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Charlie, her parents William and Evelyn, her sister and best friend Joyce, brothers Richard and Jim, and daughter in-law Linda.

Pat was born in Melville, Saskatchewan on March 15, 1929. The family moved to Winnipeg where Pat met Charlie and they were married on July 14, 1950. After they retired, Pat and Charlie joined the snow birds and spent many winters at their place in Magic Valley trailer park. When they weren’t in Texas, Pat and Charlie were usually at their cottage on Nora Lake, where she loved to play cards while enjoying a rye and water. Mom was famous for her cooking, especially her Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. She loved hosting family get togethers.

When Pat moved to her apartment, she made friends with many of her neighbors in the building. She enjoyed meeting up to play cards and bingo with them several times a week.

Pat was the best wife, Mom, Gramma, and friend anyone could hope for, she will be missed beyond measure by everyone that knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Grace hospital for the care and compassion they had for Mom in her final days.

Pat's also family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

Pat was my homecare client. She was a wonderful lady. She always said she never wanted to go out to the cabin but when she finally did she would always tell me she had a good time.  My condolences to all her family.  R I P Pat.❤

I love you Mom. I miss our FaceTime calls. I am sad you are gone but glad you are no longer in pain and that you are with Dad and Aunt Joyce, I know how much you missed them. I can picture you sitting at a table with them, Aunt Addie and Uncle Ralph playing cards. Miss you, love you forever.  Wayne

We’re so very sad to hear about the unexpected passing of our dear Auntie Pat. She will be remembered for being an incredibly wonderful ( and patient) mom to a bunch of boys and a beloved companion and sister to our dad Bob. He was so looking forward to his time in the apartment with your mom. I know you all made time for someone to visit or care for her every day so she will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt condolences.  ❤ Linda and Bill Girling

What an awesome tribute to a fabulous woman. She was the greatest aunt a girl could ask for. I loved our visits to the lake. Reliving so many memories. The laughs and tears are beyond belief. She did make a hell of a Thanksgiving dinner and let's not forget her pirogies. You are an irreplaceable lady Auntie Pat.
