ROBERT MARCEL JOSEPH PELISSE

July 29, 1948 - March 29, 2024

It is with sadness that we report the death of Bob after a long illness and many hospital stays. He was 75. His family was always by his side in the last days of his life.

He leaves to mourn his son Daniel (as well as Daniel’s mother, Diane) in California; sisters Doreen and Shelley (Jim) Nightingale; nieces Shannon and Lisa; and sister Jo-Anne Spearman; niece Justine; and nephew Jay.  He will also be missed by his friend and weekly breakfast buddy, Chuck, with whom he shared an interest in motorcycles.

He was predeceased by his father in 1991 and mother in 2003.

Bob was employed in the wholesale food industry, retiring from Sysco a number years ago.

A private family celebration of life will be held in late summer and his ashes will be dispersed at that time.

Robert’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Bob! Always so much fun to be around, especially when we were kids. I have really fond memories of one summer at the cabin in grand beach listening to his stories. He also managed to spice up Christmases. I do miss those gatherings a ton.

To the Pelisse family, my thoughts are with you during these difficult times. Bob (spelled backwards), you were a great character, and as a kid, definitely one of my favourite in the tanghe tree. May you rest in peace.

As a living tribute 20 trees are being planted in Canada's forests (wildfires restoration) in loving memory of Bob Pelisse, father and friend.  Ride on and rest in peace.
