DAVID (DAVE) CAMERON PENNER

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Dave Penner on Tuesday July 25th, 2023, at the age of 56. Born in Winnipeg on September 10th, 1966, Dave was a true Manitoban at heart.

Dave enjoyed and was passionate about hockey of all levels, from closely following the Winnipeg Jets to coaching youth hockey and volunteering at Roblin Park Community Centre throughout the hockey season.

One of Dave's favorite pastimes was tinkering with computers, a hobby he shared with his son. Those moments of troubleshooting and the joy of a successful boot-up are cherished memories that will always be held close.

Dave is remembered by his children, David and Claire, their mother Pat Rudko, his brother Derek (Kelly), and his nieces and nephew. He's now reunited with his parents, Dave and Judi.

September 10th would have been Dave’s 57th birthday. We are holding a Celebration of Life for him on this day and look forward to sharing memories with his friends and family. Dave’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 10, 2023 at 1:30 at Roblin Park Community Centre, 640 Pepperloaf Cres, Winnipeg. Instead of flowers, consider donating to Roblin Park Community Centre.
