I  am so sorry and very sad to learn of Larry's passing. I met Larry through rugby in the 90's. He was a great team mate, a fine man and generous to a fault. Rest in peace, my friend. Kevin

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful sole. Larry and I both worked for Safeway in the meat department for many years. We became good friends. I remember being invited to the farm with one of my girlfriends, we had such a lovely weekend even going to a wedding and dancing the polka with Larry. He was such a wonder individual.. The world lost a great sole but heaven received another angel. Co worker and friend Joann Drabyk❤

Our heartfelt condolences to Teresa, Patti & family. We were at a loss when we first heard of Larry's passing. As we were reflecting on our relationship with Larry we kept going back to his frequent visits to the house. It was about a year after we built our house that suddenly one day without warning the doorbell rang and low and behold there was Larry. We then invited him in, to which he remarked that he only wanted to stand at the door as he was only going to stay for 10 or 15 minutes and then go. An hour and a half later, with legs getting weary he said goodbye. This would become a pattern over the next 2 or 3 years, until one day he accepted our offer and sat on the couch, close to the door. After that we gradually got him as far as the den and even on the deck for beverages. We are going to miss those varied, but interesting conversations and his purple ketchup. We'll see you again one day Larry.

Our sincerest condolences  Patty, Theresa and Families. We were very saddened to hear of Larry's passing.  I always remember Larry with a big smile and always a story to tell. As part of the various reunion committee for the Rossburn "Get-Togethers" Larry always had something constructive to add. Glenn met Larry through the reunion group and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and his stories and pictures of his dogs.(Glenn is also an avid dog person). God has gained another beautiful angel and we all have lost a wonderful friend.

My condolences to the Perchaluk family on the passing of Larry. I first met Larry almost 50 years ago when I hired him as a meat cutter for Safeway.  My memory is not as sharp now, but I think he graduated from the RRCC commercial meat cutting program.  Safeway had 30 stores in the city, so there was full time work for over half a year, then, you were on call for sickness, injuries or holidays relief.  Besides hiring him, I was sort of his boss for some time as I would call him for his hours for the week or day.  It took several years of a floating part time meat cutter to eventually go on to a full time position in the stores.  Larry had a good work ethic, personality and I did not receive any complaints from his work. When ever I had the chance to visit the stores I would check the meat departments and say Hello to the meat cutters I had hired over the years, Larry being one of them.   It is unfortunate that you could not enjoy a longer retirement.   God Bless, Rest in Peace.
