ORAZIO "ORR" PERRELLI

August 31, 1965 - October 30, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Orazio “Orr” Perrelli at age 59 in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Orazio is predeceased by his sister Giulianna; brother Giuseppe; father Emilio; and mother Assunta.

Orazio will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Orazio liked the outdoors, sports, as well as art, history, and music. He loved to discuss his knowledge with others on the topics of art, history, and geography.

He attended many concerts and was always up to date on what was happening with the Jets and Bombers.

He always had a soft spot for each and every one of his nieces and nephews. We will miss your smile and your laughter.

Rest in Peace, our dear brother.

You will be dearly missed,

but never forgotten.

A Celebration of His Life will take place at 3:00pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 603 Wellington Crescent (Unitarian Church).

Orazio’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

It was in the last year of Razz's life (Razz was how I reffed to him)...He moved into our building and we ended up being very good friends.

Razz was a pleasure to be with, we talked about everything under the Sun, his intellect was much appreciated even though we would disagree on a very small percentage of subject matter, we were always respectful of each person's point of view.

We enjoyed our many visits together, him at my apartment upstairs or me at his, laugh...OMG, laugh till our stomachs hurt, listened to and watched Tina Turner Videos, probably 100+ times (he was always proud of Italy and often mentioned his pleasure that Tina found a safe harbour in his Homeland).

It was a very sad passing for so many people, Razz was a very reasonable and an excellent conciliary, he is missed.

Regrettably, several tenants did not have knowledge of his memorial service and would have sadly yet joyfully have attended.

Rest in Peace 🙏 Amigo.

We are sorry to hear about the passing of Orazio (Orr). He was a great person. Orazio came to Calgary, AB every summer to work in the constuction industry with our dad. He stayed in Calgary for the whole summer and than went back to Winnipeg. Dad recalls him as being a very kind person and a hard worker. I remember Orazio coming to our house for dinner and chatting in Italian with dad. With deepest sympathy accept our condolences to the family. Rest in Peace, Orazio.

Orr was a life-long friend going back to the days of elementary school at Earl Grey. I'll always remember our annual "fishing" trips during the May long weekend in White Dog Falls, Ontario with many of our other friends. Those were some of the greatest & funniest times I will forever remember.

R.I.P., Orr!! Say hello to Joe for me.

I only met Orr a few times. Each time I met him though he always greeted me with a smile and took time to chat with me. I found him to be a very candid perso.n. I know he struggled with his health for quite some tim.e. I would hope he is in a better place now. Condolences and blessings to his family.
