It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Amedeo Petrillo age 68 on June 3, 2026. Amedeo (Adam) was born on Feb 21, 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Rinaldo and Carolina Petrillo.
Adam will be deeply missed by his wife, Essie; and children Carolynn, Melissa (Kevin), Ronnie (Jill), Miguel and Gabriella; as well as grandchildren, Catriana, Declan, Natalia and Marco. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Rocco (Isolina); and nieces, Sofia and Raquel (Nelson); nephew Ryan (Mia); as well as uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends. He leaves behind his beloved dog Cali, who will miss their quiet moments together.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Centro Caboto Centre, 1055 Wilkes Ave. Private burial to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dear Rocco and families we were saddened to hear and then read of your brother Amedeo sudden passing.. I have many fond memories of our families spending days and evenings celebrating at our home or yours.. Our families had many laughs and Meals together. Amadeo was in the band Solo Noi with us ; Silvio , Toni and Vito, in the 70s. We played weddings , parties , socials and even at Folklorama. It was a fabulous time in all our lives and we will all miss you a lot !!

I used to buy amadeo Chocolate bars when he was a drummer in my brother's band I used to run to Joe's grocery store on Osborne. He was a very funny guy.

Essie & rest of family. We were shocked to hear of Adam's sudden passing. It's so hard to lose a loved one when you least expect it. We will miss him when we visit Winnipeg. Adam always welcomed us with open arms & a smile

We got to know Adam through his brother Rocco, our brother -in -law.

He will be missed; every time I hear Black Magic Woman from Santana I see Rocco on bass and Adam on drums in their band. When I think of my marriage I can hear Adam giving me his best wisdom as my bestman, when I look at my son I can see how honoured Adam was to be his godfather. To say he will be missed is to say he lives on in our hearts and minds with great love,
