MARGARET ROSE PILON
(née Marie Marguerite Rose Vandale)
November 23, 1944 – April 18, 2025
We are sad to announce that Margaret Pilon (née Marie Marguerite Rose Vandale), passed suddenly, at home, on April 18, 2025 after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her Mother, Antoinette (née Richard); husband Roland; son Wayne; sister in law Diane; and a grandson Brett who passed at 6 years of age.
Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Ken and Shawn; her brothers, Denis (Janet), David, Ronald (Shirley), Donald (Pat); and Maureen Tanghe (Barry Tanghe); and grandchildren, Jaxon and Brianne.
Margaret had delicate health all her life, contracted polio at age 6 and wasn't expected to live, but she was tough and persevered. Unfortunately, the last years of her life was marred by colon cancer and then lung cancer.
Margaret liked knitting and making jewellery and gifted some to her friends and family. Margaret worked at St. Boniface Hospital in housekeeping, Grand and Toy, and H&R block. She loved her weekends at her sister Maureen's trailer at the Oasis campground and spending time with family.
Margaret will be missed by friends and family.
Interment of ashes will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2nd, 2025 at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Margaret was always awesome when I came to visit and stay with her and Aunti Toni. Wish I had come and visited more over the last years and spent more time with her. I will try to find some pictures of her during our visits.
