ROBERT PILON

August 17, 1964 - April 30, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce that Robert Pilon passed away on April 30th 2023 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 58.

He is survived by his daughter Keeanna (Joseph) grandchild Jorja. 3 brothers Roger, Marcel, Garry (Debbie) and 3 sisters Florence, Linda, Simon (Dave).

Robert spent many years as a window cleaner being on top of the tallest buildings. Robert loved spending time with his family and friends listening to music all night long and, of course having a nice bubbly. He enjoyed fishing off the point in Sagkeeng, making fires the bigger the better and camping telling many stories. Robert always made everyone around him laugh there wasn't a time we all weren't laughing. Robert is the life of the party he always had such amazing spirit to be around.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 11:30am on Friday, May 19th, 2023, at the South Osborne Legion (426 Osborne Street).

Robert’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

I’ll always forever cherish the memories I had of him trying to be a “dad” to me.. lol he was so funny, had me going at times, he would tease my mom so much at work, every time I told him I’ll tell my dad,  his smile would totally drop! 💯 then start over again .. Gonna miss you Rob Pilon

Extending condolences to Robs family and friends . The days before robs passing I shared stories of us as youth growing up and some of the things we did ..I returned home to Winnipeg to visit in 2009 I ran in to Rob at the shell station on st Ann’s road ..it’s like we never skipped a beat we laughed hugged and enjoyed the few minutes of conversation..what was cool he addresses me as his sister and for real that’s the closest friendship we had ..I’m sad to say I will not be able to make his celebration of life however I will on that day make a special tribute to him as I travel west through the mountains .. One thing that I’ll forever remember is his laughter his cheekiness and that he knew my stepfather Pat Cadotte longer then me as he always made sure to remind me when we were youth ..rest well Robert you’ve earned your wings   Ivylynn Delorme

Uncle Robert was always there for us growing up many good memories of him. One thing I’ll always remember is him singing. Now it didn’t really matter what music was playing he would sing out loud over and over again. You’ll forever be missed rest easy Uncle Robert. Love your niece Donna.
