ROSEMARIE POLLOCK

March 13, 1933 - January 31, 2024

Our beautiful mother passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her and cared for her.

Left to find comfort in our loving memories are her children, John (Marilyn), Andrea (Neale), and Michael (Susan). Rose also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Lesley, Nancy, Drew, Kimberly, and Kyle and their partners and children. She is also survived by her special friend, Bob Nokes. Rose was predeceased by her parents John and Josephine, her brother Bruce and her beloved husband, Andy.

Although born in Toronto, Rose grew up in Winnipeg and made it her home for the rest of her life. She attended Kelvin High School where she was an energetic and enthusiastic cheerleader. She met Andy and there began an amazing partnership of love, family, business and just plain fun. Together they raised their young family while building the business of Pollock & Wright Land Surveyors. Rose took care of all aspects of secretarial and accounting matters. She was well known for her lightning fingers on the typewriter and computer keyboards.

Rose had many wonderful friends over the years with whom she shared her keen participation in bridge clubs, bowling leagues and horse racing.

Andy and Rose took up golf upon retirement and spent many winters in Phoenix enjoying the sport while engaging with another special group of friends. Warm weather found them at Lake of the Woods where Rose enjoyed being surrounded by nature, family and friends.

She will be missed by those whose lives she touched with her warmth, wit and love.

The family wishes to thank the professional and caring staff of the Saul and Claribel Simkin Center for making the very best of Rose’s past few years.

A celebration of life to honor Rose’s memory will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 24 at the St. Charles Country Club (100 Country Club Blvd).

Rose's family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.
