DONATA RAIMO

1932-2023

It is with great sadness we announce Donata Raimo died peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the age of 91 at the Misericordia Place with her daughter Mariannina and her son Gennaro by her side.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio (Tony) Raimo; parents; and three brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mariannina Raimo; son Gennaro Bruno Raimo (Karen); grandson Ashton Antonio Raimo; as well as her nieces, nephews, and many friends.

 

Donata was born in Balvano Italy where she married, and they had their daughter Mariannina.  In 1957 she and her husband immigrated to Canada settling in Winnipeg where she and Tony raised their family.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

 

The family wishes to thank the staff at Misericordia Place for the care provided to Donata.

Condolences will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 12 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am. Rev. Father Sam Argenziano presiding.
