I'm so sorry to hear about Gary. I'll always remember our high school football days and the laughs we had both on and off the field. I especially remember the few times Gary picked me up for school in his old car with Uriah Heep or Black Sabbath playing on his 8 Track stereo. Those were truly Glory Days. My sincere condolences to Gary's family.

To the Ranta and Greaves families my deepest sympathies. I will always remember Gary from childhood as being a sweet gentle giant. May he rest in peace

Hung out a little with Gary in high school. One of the good guys. In junior football there weren't enough jerseys to go around so Gary and I both had number 42 . Gary was very tall and I was a skinny shorter kid. Confused a lot of people when I came in to play. Although I can only reflect on our younger years, he was truly one of the good guys. Saddened to read of his passing.
