I got to know Muriel on the board of Dalnavert Museum.  We shared a memorable trip to Minneapolis/St. Paul for a workshop on House Museums.  We had lots of good times there, and it was always a treat to meet up with her at lunch at the University Women's Club.  Her cheerful memos have kept me connected to the club for the years that I have been in BC.  I will surely miss her.

Muriel will always be remembered as our family member that searched, organized and compiled the Rhind family history. This was a huge undertaking that took years! At 102, my mother is the oldest of the Rhind cousins. She has enjoyed the history for many years and has shared it will all her family! Muriels  passion for our history will always be remembered. She was the cousin that passed on the present family happenings and special memories and she will always be missed!

Muriel was special. Committed to whatever she took on. Always helpful. An appreciation and support for diversity. So many years she was the editor for the UWCW Bulletin. Go in peace my friend. ❤

I first met Muriel when she joined the University Women's Club at Ralph Connor House more than twenty years ago.We developed a common passion for the aging house and were involved in the lenghthy process of achieving National Historic Designation for the home of a once famous author known as "Ralph Connor". As part of a group of six we worked to produce a record of the House's 100 years and its inhabitants. Muriel had the tenacity of a bloodhound in searching out ancient archives and her help was beyond price. She was a wonderful friend in so many ways and will be sorely missed by her friends at "The House" . Irene Legg
