MARIAN JOAN RICHARD

With heavy hearts, we announce that Marian passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2023 at the age of 69.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years Ernie, her children Tim, Ernie and Kathy (Brian), her special friend and surrogate daughter Patricia, and her granddaughters Madison and Charlotte.

​

Marian will be forever remembered as a kind, caring and loving person who spent the majority of her life looking after others. She devoted her life to caring for her husband and kids and was overjoyed to become a Grandma – her granddaughters were the light of her life. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She was always up for an adventure and spent a good amount of her time out walking and exploring and making friends along the way.

Her family will be forever grateful to the staff in Unit 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion they showed Marian in her final days.

​

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we’ll miss you until we meet again
