Heartfelt sympathy & condolences to Pat and family. Darling Linda, so friendly, gracious, encouraging and capable. Her charming giggle and laughter comes to mind at just the thought of her. Always a wonderful next door neighbour and friend of the collective in Wolseley and social planning initiatives in Winnipeg neighbourhoods. A thorough professional with a compassionate touch. Rest in peace and glory Linda.

I had the pleasure of working for years with Linda in our affordable housing initiative. Linda was always energetic & eager to help in whatever way she could. Linda's compassionate, caring & friendly personality made her an instant friend to all. She also never failed to see the humour in situations and was very smart but also humble. Linda was one of the kindest, nicest people I have met.

My deepest sympathies to her family. I hope all the wonderful memories you have will help you through this difficult time.

linda was so caring,smart,0ptimistic and had a great sense of humor and was the Greatest Friend! I will miss our late night chats, sometimes past midnight! We were both night hawks.

She adored her grandchildren!!!! She will be deeply missed!!!

Sincere condolences Ring family. I so appreciate the friendship I had with Linda that developed through the friendship of our sons, Will and Craig. The boys were classmates at Laura Secord and played soccer together at R. A. Steen. Linda was the kind of person that just felt like you knew her all your life. She was witty, kind, supportive and fun. You are all in my heart and prayers.

Every spring Linda and I would check our gardens to see what perennials were doing well and which ones we hoped would perk up. And of course pick a date for our yearly trip to the garden centre(s) to get our annual flowers and various veggies. The first time we went Linda picked me up between 0930 - 0945, being an early riser I felt like the day was half over by that time! Being quite trainable it reached the point where Linda picked me up so early we got to the garden centre before it even opened - a record! When finished our rounds we would push our loaded carts of flats of plants out to the car to try to get everything in, no mean feat! After several laughs and mutual adminiration of our increasing logistical prowess, we were off home. This usually included getting lost along the way, either coming or going we almost always got lost - can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times is was straight there and back. Had to tell Linda to stop apologizing, there was no rush and was quite enjoying the scenic view!! I will miss our trips and will miss Linda for our great conversations and laughs, a good friend.

Linda was one of the most intelligent woman who was committed to promoting affordable housing. I had the opportunity to work with her through WHRC when she was at the City and later on as well. Most positive person and she will be dearly missed. Our condolences to family and friends

Linda was a loving proud Grandma! Her love and admiration for each of her 5 grandchildren was boundless. Her big hugs and loving compliments will be missed. She and I shared little stories and hopes and dreams for their future. Her energetic spirit will always be nearby each one as a silent loving guide .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I know the Ring family from their involvement at St. Margaret's Church and I was Linda's co-worker during her career with the City of Winnipeg. After her retirement, she and I served on the informal board of the Great Blue Art Studio, providing support and advice to our mutual friend, Shirley Levacy. I found Linda to be a phenomenal encourager, unfailingly complimentary and positive, and a great friend. She will be sorely missed!

We were also 30 year neighbors of Linda and Pat and as I said to another neighbor, if everyone had a neighbor like Linda, the world would be a better place.

Linda had a wonderfully warm mode of reception and goodbyes that always made you feel special.

Not only a neighbor, Linda and my husband worked in Planning together and along with two other colleagues formed a group that continued to get together to see each other over a meal.

Linda was generous with sharing her plants, tomato seeds and rides home from work.

She was the one who knew everyone on the block and those of us who considered her a friend were the richer for it.

Our heartfelt condolences to Pat, Will, Bronwyn and families.

For thirty years my husband, Len, and I, have known and loved Linda, Pat, Will, and Bronwyn, since we and our four children moved into the house next door to their home; Bronwyn walking our oldest daughter, Victoria, to school when she began kindergarten, making cookies with Victoria, . and helping to supervise her eighth birthday party. our hearts go out to Pat, Will, and Bronwyn, at this time of great loss and deep pain
