Clifton has been a close dear member of our family since before my oldest child was born...who he is related to. Over 27 years...the card games and talks will forever be missed. Years and miles apart never made me forget what a dear and special person he was. We spoke often through messenger and I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. RIP Cliftom my dear friend. We will have to finish our card game when we meet again in heaven xx ❤️

i first met Clifton when I was in my early 20s. He was such a sweet and caring man, always up for a good laugh. Reminded me of a big teddy bear. Will miss him always.

Clifton was a good friend to my mom Ronda, especially when we were kids. I remember him taking us to magic mountain and crystal Pallace when it was open when I was a kid.

Clifton and I have been true friends for 42 yrs.he also became close friends with my mom and my children. Cliff always checked on me and gave me advice  :)   We shared a brotherly sisterly relationship that could not be separated no matter how far in distance we lived. I guess I'm still in shock as not to many days ago was our last face time. Cliff cared about others and always made his friends feel important as he was important to his friends.  He always picked up some of my home made pickling as well as my home grown veggies when he visited nova scotia.  God knows I will always miss you ...but feel that you will always be there. Alma was the love of his life as he always said , I was so happy for him to have found Alma. Prayers to Alma.

I met Clifton in 1988 in Yarmouth Nova Scotia. I was on a motorcycle vacation with my then wife when we met Clifton fishing off a pier. He was such a happy, easy-going guy, we invited him to join us for dinner at out campsite nearby. After dinner we played what became the International Ping Pong tournament between Canada and the United States. Clifton whooped me proper! And although he was a most gracious winner, I have had to bear the shame all these years. LOL. We have stayed in touch ever since and enjoyed many a fine conversation. Clifton my friend, I have so enjoyed our talks throughout the years and truly wish I'd had the chance to see you again. Hard to believe we became such good friends for so many years. I miss you and will think of you often. Bob

🕊️Rest in heavenly peace, Clifton I know you are smiling and feeling no pain anymore. Cliffy was a dear friend to me since the 80’s when he would accompanied me on drives from Yarmouth  to Halifax back to college and he’d stay and visit his sister April. Clifton was a friendly, smart-witted, fun, hard working, and God loving man. Clifton was a good friend to my mom, Bertha, and would drive her to appointments, errands and bingo.  Clifton was special and he’d stayed in touch and always reached out to his family and friends by visits, email, text, and facebook messenger and he’d say it’s something  we all need to do. Clifton was there to chat with me anytime and we’d play cribbage at 2 and 3 o’clock in the morning until I would fall back asleep.  I will miss our chats about God, life and   gardening. We would mail sunflower seeds to each other to plant and compare, so I will plant a Sunflower in my garden in memory of you and watch it grow tall as it aims to the sky.  Cliffy I miss you and loved our bond.  Prayers of God‘s blessings be upon April and family, Alma and stepsons,  and the many friends that were blessed to have Clifton as a friend. 🕊️ Rest in heavenly peace, I will miss you Cliffy, your grateful friend Rachel Langford.❤
