Over the years since I moved back to Winnipeg I used to run into Cecil occasionally at Tim Horton's at Unicity over the years. I always made a point to have a short chat with him. I hadn't seen him for a number of years and always wondered how he was doing. Over those years I would check the obits hoping to not to see his name. Well, today my wife and I were at Tim's and Cecil popped into my mind. I wondered out loud how he was doing and said he must really be getting up there. My wife checked the obits on her phone right there and here I am. 104 is seriously an impressive age.

I remember Cecil well, and some of the pictures of him I think 1960's vintage are to me as though yesterday. I send my heart felt condolences to the entire Robinson family. A terrible loss but also a life to be celebrated.
