ROBERT (BOB) GORDON ROWDEN

We are saddened to announce the passing of Robert Gordon Rowden on April 29th, 2026. Bob was born on February 1st, 1956, and passed peacefully at the St Boniface Hospital at the age of 70.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength and the presence he brought to those around him. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his father Kancil Rowden, mother Jean Ferguson (Lamb); brothers, James Rowden and Arnold Levanthal; cousin Jim Rowden; niece Laura Blore; as well as very special friends, Ken Eng, Jeff Sweetland, and Garry (Zortch); as well as his beloved Maltese Shih Tzu cross "Rosie" who was always by his side.

Left to mourn his passing are brothers, Garry Rowden (Anne) and Thomas Rowden; sisters, Christine Sinclair, Linda Ferguson, Barb Roschuk (Joe), Sharon McMichael (Vern); as well as many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.

Special people in Bobs life include Michelle and Jerry, who meant a great deal to him

Bob has been cremated and a Celebration of Life / get together, will be announced at a later date.

If friends so desire, donations can be made in Bob's memory to a pet rescue of your choice, CancerCare Manitoba or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
