KURT RUSSELL

It is with great sadness that on Sunday February 22, 2026 Kurt succumbed to his battle to cancer, crossing over to the spirit world with wide and loving arms of his beloved wife Lori Lynn Cochrane and unborn baby girl Renee, his mother Joyce Russell, Father Ian Russell, Mother-in-Law Gladys and Father-in-Law Oliver Cochrane. Kurt will be mourned by his loving daughter Rachel Lee Cochrane-Russell (and Brendon McKay), son Dustin Kurt Junior Cochrane-Russell (and Justice White Quills) and his adored grandchildren, Declan, Renae, Nakoa Bear and Jermaean. Brother Darren, his favourite big sister Leslie, Sister-in-law Terri Cochrane, Niece Alix (and Paul) Nephew Daniel (and Christine), aunties, uncles, cousins and many friends he made throughout his lifetime.

Kurt lived an adventurous life, he was happiest at Long Bow Lake, puttering, fishing, swimming, canoeing, laughing, telling stories and drinking beer by the fire.
