JOHN SCOTT

John Scott, age 67, born October 30, 1956, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024. He was the loving father to two sons, Trevor and Michael, and the devoted husband of Marlene for 23 years. John was also a loving stepfather to Russell Yorke and his wife, Chrissy, and Ronald (Joe) Yorke and his wife, Rebecca Peiffer. He took great joy in being a proud grandfather of three wonderful grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Doreen Scott; and is survived by his sisters, Suzan Zimmer (Jim Zimmer) and Joanne Scott (Dean Milijure); and his brother, Greg Scott (Bernice Scott); along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

Known for his heart of gold, John was a truly wonderful person who would give the shirt off his back to help others. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of many. He will be missed by all who loved him and knew him.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
