SELINA ROBERTON

Selina Roberton of Winnipeg, MB died Friday August 16, 2019 with her loving partner by her side.

Selina had many battles with her health but died peacefully in her sleep. She leaves behind her mother Ruth; sister Melanie (Neil); son Jordy (Abby); daughter Zoey (Emile); partner Quinn and his son Brett; niece Jenna and nephew Dylan as well as many life-long friends, especially Karen and Tara.

Born September 13, 1969 in Iselohn, Germany, Selina came with her family to Canada as her father was transferred through the Canadian Armed Forces. They settled in Winnipeg, MB.

Selina raised her two children in St. James as a single mother where she spent all her life. She was known for her dry sense of humor and witty personality. She was a force to be reckoned with and when she walked into a room everyone would know she was there. Either she knew them personally or she was about too.

Her true happiness besides having her children was when she met Quinn who became her partner and soulmate. She loved being at the lake and spent many happy times especially Christmas the last 5 years in Gimli, MB with Quinn and family.

Memorial donations in memory of Selina can be made to the Arthritis Society, 100A-1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8

A celebration of life will be held 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 in the Maranatha Free Church, 910 Sturgeon Road, with Pastor Dave Friesen presiding. All those that were touched by Selina are welcome to join the family to celebrate her life.
