Blair Sheane

BLAIR SHEANE
December 16, 1948 – November 18, 2025
Blair began life’s journey in December of 1948, in Norway House, Manitoba. After a brief illness he said his final farewell in November of 2025.
Blair spent most of his married life in Belair, Manitoba, working as a lineman for Manitoba Hydro. Following retirement from Hydro he worked for Grand Beach Provincial Park.
“Belair Blair” enjoyed his service as a volunteer firefighter. He was an avid curler and supporter of live music. Many hours were spent volunteering and helping neighbours and friends.
I am sure he would like to thank all the people who made his journey more joyful.
“Cheers! Live Long and Prosper”

My brother Blair always seem to march to the beat of his own drum. He was a caring man who loved his nieces and nephews. I always felt that if I ever needed him he would be there for me in a heartbeat. He was fascinated by how how things work and my earliest memory of him was taking apart a vacuum cleaner shortly after our Mom cleaned the fireplace in our home and after she had washed and waxed the hardwood floors. Mom awoke from a nap to a complete mess. I hid him under my bed so she couldn't find him until she was calmer. He loved music and the succession of pets through their home. May he rest in peace. With Love Juanita

Blair and I did the usual brother things as kids, played together in the forest, had quarrels with each other, but he also guided me during our time in the Canadian Boy Scout. He was one who got me one of my first jobs as a night clerk in The Pas, MB. What I will always remember the most about my older brother is that he lived his life the way he wanted, doing as he thought was right for him. RIP Blair. Love you

Our cherished memory of Blair was when he helped save one of our grand kitties from a very tall tree. She had been there for a few days. He used his pole climbing spurs and up he went. We will always be grateful . His love for flowers too , always a visit to the greenhouse. Will miss you Blair.
