KEVEN RICHARD FRED SHIMARO

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keven — beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin — at the age of 45, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Even though Keven’s life wasn’t always easy, he never stopped caring deeply for the people around him. He had a one-of-a-kind spirit and a brilliant sense of humor. He was quick to lend a hand, and always there to listen. A true character, Keven was endlessly creative—he once proudly told people he was MacGyver’s son and spent much of his life living up to the title, fixing things in his own clever way.

From being a crossing guard and a proud (aspiring) Boy Scout, to showing off his treasured sneaker collection to his niece and nephews, Keven found joy in the little things and loved to share it with others. He was known for his generosity, his thoughtful nature, and his ability to make people laugh—even in the hardest times.

He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
