ANNA SIEBEN

(Née Koning)

November 5, 1935 – January 30, 2026

Little did I know that my weekly visit with mom would be my last. Unexpectedly on Friday Jan 30, 2026, with Park Manor Support Staff by moms’ side, peacefully she took her last breath only to be reunited with her love Anton (Tony).

Anna Sieben celebrated her 90th birthday on Nov 5, 2025.  Anna is survived by her son Glen (Colleen), grandchildren Matthew (Sara) Oswald-Sieben; Melissa Sieben; and their mother Evelyn Sieben; grandchildren Chris Sieben, Willie Sieben, and Tamara Sieben.  Predeceased by her husband Anton (Tony) of 50 years, son Lambert and his wife Debbie, son Tony Jr. Sieben, grandsons Justin Sieben and Daniel Sieben.

Mom and Dad came from Sittard, Netherland, making their permanent home in Transcona, MB all their married life. Mom was a gifted seamstress and shared this gift with so many families.  The last 8 years Mom lived at Park Manor in Transcona. The genuine love and support provided by Park Manor staff was outstanding.   On behalf of my family, a big thank you to each staff who played a part in mom’s life.

Cremation has taken place by Ethical Death Care.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace Mom.

Love Always,

Glen

You are a dearly loved son by your mom. You always took care to call and visit and share your good hearted nature. My thoughts are with you, Glen and Colleen and Sieben children.

Annie was a good friend of mine. I worked with her for over 20 years and we continued our friendship after retirement.

She will be missed.
