I have many memories with Mavis and will always remember the time we worked together at the hotel. I often thought of how she was doing after we lost touch. May she Rest In Peace and my prayers and condolences to her family and friends.

Rest in peace Auntie Mavis. You were also my very first boss at the Hotel Fort Gary when I was 14. Thank you for the experience and teaching me the value of hard work.

Sad to hear of Mavis's passing.  We worked together for many years at the Fort Garry Hotel and after at the former Birchwood.  We had lots of fun times. I also remember spending time at her home with her mom and kids - me and Kenny dancing in the living room.  Rest in peace my old friend.
