MARK RYAN SMERCHANSKI

It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Mark Ryan Smerchanski. He passed away suddenly on May 27, 2023 at his home in Lockport, MB at the age of 40.

Mark Ryan leaves to mourn his son Mark Jr; mother Toni Jasper (Butch); brother Anton; sister Hayly (Mike); step daughter Ashley; nieces Haven, Halo, and Sage; dearest beloved friend Kaylee; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Mark Peter; Uncle Gilbert; and his grandparents, Victor and Darlene Jasper and Phil and Georgie Smerchanski. 

Mark Ryan was born on January 8, 1983 in Winnipeg, MB. He grew up in St. Andrews, MB and quickly fell in love with the outdoors and motorized toys. His passion for dirt bikes and motorcycles started young and just kept growing. He loved to be on the move and always had a story ready to make you laugh.

In 2017 Mark’s son was born and that changed his whole world. He absolutely loved being a dad and he will forever cherish that.

While on this ride called life you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad.
Love what you’ve got and remember what you had.
Always forgive but never forget.
Learn from your mistakes but never regret.
People change, things go wrong.
Just remember… the ride goes on.
