LAWRENCE WILFRID SMITH

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lawerence Smith at Riverview health centre in Winnipeg Manitoba on November 24, 2025 at the age of 78 years old.

Dad was born in Rivercrest Manitoba on October 12, 1947. Lawrence is survived by his son Greg Smith (Chantal); daughter Shannon Cecotka (Miles); grandchildren, Steven Cecotka (Raven), Noah Cecotka (Sage), and Kale Cecotka (Lara), great grandchildren, Layla, Grayson, and Dane Cecotka; brother Wayne Smith (Sharon); as well as his friend Carole Smith.

Dad loved to travel and took his kids and grandkids on many trips. He had an amazing sense of humour and could make a joke out of anything.

Thank you to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for taking such excellent care of our Dad.
