PAUL MICHAEL SMITH

July 7, 1951 – October 25, 2024

Paul passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side hand in hand on October 25, 2024. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

In Memory Of

Our Dad

If we could write a story,

It would be the greatest ever told,

Of a kind and loving father,

Who had a heart of gold.

We could write a million pages

But still be unable to say,

Just how much we love and miss him

Every single day.

We will remember all he taught us

We’re hurt but won't be sad;

Because he'll send us down the answers

And he'll always be OUR DAD.

Paul’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

He would always shake his head at us when we'd (Sherrie and I) start a project because he knew we were going make at least 3-5 trips to the store before we could start it. I remember one time him saying after we had returned from our 3rd trip to the store and still didn't get him the screws he needed to build my shed "Monk, make a list" and I was like Monk? To which you explained, his nick name for you was Monkey ❤️ He was a great man with a kind heart who always made me and my kids feel welcome.

You were a great uncle , with a subtle wit and charm that would catch people off guard. A core memory i have was when the uncles would get home after being out of town for work for weeks on end, you, uncle Peter, Jamie and my dad would having one of many get togethers at our house and i remember me and Little Terry being so exited! you guys would order all the best take out food because you guys missed all your junk food while up north. we knew it was going to be a fun night. you would give us all your change and we'd play "Quarters" (trying to slide a quarter closest to the wall) and the winner would win the pot.

This is a great loss and we'll miss you forever.

love you uncle Paul 🤍

He was such a loving man. He's like a second dad to me.
