DARRELL PETER PAUL SOKOL

March 17, 1961 - March 22, 2022

It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, on March 22, 2022 at 7:45pm; he was 61.

Darrell was born March 17, 1961, to Paul and Aileen (née Demydowich).

He is survived by his wife Sandra; children, Rebecca, Jarrett, Chantal, Picicci (Dan) and Brandon; grandchildren, Elijah, Anthonio and Akayah; his dear sister Mary; nephews Spencer and Travis; as well as many friends and family.

Darrell will forever be in our hearts and soul. He would always say, “Always stay humble and kind!”

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Remember me with a smile today.

I was not one for tears.

Reflect instead on memories of our happy years

Recall to mind the way I spoke,

All the things I said

My Strength, my stance, the way I laughed.

Remember these instead

There is a GoFundMe page set up for his wife as he was given 20 days to live and suffered until his final day. He didn’t have a chance to get anything in order for her as they were married only two days prior to his passing.

Special thanks to his sister Mary and nephew Spencer, as well as his kids for all the love and support they gave him during this time.

Darryl's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.
